As a home-based provider who has practiced each of your response plans frequently, you may find that the stress of an actual emergency affects your response. It’s easy to forget to do some of the things you practiced. To help avoid that, here are a series of Response Procedure Checklists — one each for evacuation, shelter in place, and lockdown. You can customize the lists to contain the steps you laid out in your emergency response plans. In an actual emergency, carry the appropriate checklist with you. You can make sure you’ve completed each step, in order, before moving on to the next one.
