Head Start Stories
Head Start is truly an amazing program that educates not only the child but the entire family.
I hope to be the person that I needed—the person that Head Start made sure was there for my family when we needed it.
These two community members volunteer on the Sault Tribe Head Start Health Services Advisory Committee.
It has been my pleasure to give the same care and nurturing to children and families (at Head Start) that I and my children once received.
It gave me a jump start when I was going into kindergarten; I had already had interaction with other kids and knew how to do lots of stuff.
