To enhance security, and to make the Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center (ECLKC) a safer environment to collaborate and learn, we've implemented Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This provides additional safeguards to your account by asking you to enter a verification code when you login with your existing user ID and password.
There are two options for implementing 2FA in your account. You can choose to receive a code via email or using a registered 2FA device.
Email My Code
Get a 2FA verification code by having it emailed to the address associated with your ECLKC account. Be sure to add no_reply@eclkc.info to your safe senders list.
- Select "Get Your 2FA Verification Code Here."
From the Login screen, enter your username and password and then choose the "Get Your 2FA Verification Code Here" link. - Check your inbox.
Look for the six-digit code from no_reply@eclkc.info. - Go back to the Login page and enter the verification code.

Register a 2FA Device
Register your smartphone or tablet to have a 2FA verification code delivered directly to you. There are several ways to register, depending on your device. When you visit your user profile, you will see a quick response (QR) code and a secret key. Find instructions below for how to register on different devices, as well as a sample secret key and QR code for reference.

iPhone or iPad
We recommend using Google Authenticator for iOS. Once you have downloaded the app, scan the square QR code in your user profile. You also can manually add your account using your account ID and secret key.
Make a note of your account and secret key if you wish to add multiple devices. You will need it if you change your mobile device, or if you no longer have a registered device in your possession. You can also register a new device using the ECLKC "Forgot password" feature. Once your password has been reset, you will be able to register your new device during your first login. You will be shown your QR code, account ID, and secret key as part of your user profile.
Android Phone or Tablet
We recommend using Google Authenticator for Android. Once you have downloaded the app, scan the square QR code in your user profile. You also can manually add your account using your account ID and secret key.

I Don't Have a Smartphone or Tablet
Don't have a smartphone or tablet? Use the GAuth Authenticator app for Google Chrome browsers. Once you have downloaded the app, manually add your account using your account and secret key.
Make a note of the account and secret key if you wish to add multiple computers with Chrome installed.
If you don't have a smartphone or tablet, the easiest way to receive a 2FA verification code is through the email address associated with your ECLKC account.
