Health data can help programs develop approaches to ensure every family receives the health services they need. The data each Head Start program collects about the families they serve can also help them improve health services and plan for future program years. Community health data helps programs understand and address barriers to accessing healthcare and other services. Program health data enables leaders to identify and respond to program-specific health, wellness, and safety trends. Use this module to figure out the types of data that will provide an accurate picture of program and community health.
