Director's Remarks — Head Start Love
Director Khari Garvin: Hello, everybody. Khari Garvin here, the director of the Office of Head Start. I just wanted to take a few minutes to share our exciting Head Start Love campaign for the month of February.
This Valentine’s Day, join us in recognizing the incredible dedication of our Head Start staff, who work tirelessly each day to support children and families across the country. We want to hear why you love what you do. On social media, using #HeadStartLove, share your story and any fun Valentine’s Day activities with us. I’m serious, we really want to hear from you, and I’ll go first.
I love my job as the director of the Office of Head Start because every day I get to lead a team that shapes the strategy of the program that I have devoted my life to for 25 years! And every day I get to work with a lot of smart people who genuinely believe in Head Start’s core mission to end poverty. How about it? What’s your “Head Start Love” story?
