Early Essentials Intro Video
[Music]
Hey, I'm Amanda Perez. from the Early Head Start National Resource Center, on set for the "Early Essentials" series. We want to tell you about three more webisodes coming soon. "Early Essentials" offers information on the foundations of early childhood. It's designed to share important information as you start work with young children and their families.
Our focus here is on infants and toddlers: Where they are now, but also where they're headed as they get ready for kindergarten and beyond. So, whether you work with Child Care, Early Head Start, Migrant and Seasonal Head Start, or Preschool Head Start, you can find information here designed for you. If you're new to the series, check out the previous six webisodes on the ECLKC and, if you're returning, welcome back to "Early Essentials."
In the next three webisodes, we'll talk about environments as a partner in your work and how environments can support relationships and learning; what it means to really get to know a child and hisor her family through responsive interactions, and how that can inform your work; and finally, how language development grows from the relationships children have with those around them and how early language experiences build a strong foundation for school readiness.
Watch the videos and use the resources to dig a little deeper. We're so glad you're with us. Can't wait to see you at the next "Early Essentials."
